This week has flown by! Well actually considering we are well into October, these past weeks have flown by too. Wednesday we went to the Phantom of the Opera! It was incredible, I have never seen it before and I was amazed at how moving it was. I did not think musicals were my thing, but I was on the verge of tears throughout the whole thing. If only I could sing…

Friday we did a tour on the London Eye! Almost all 50 of us went up in two pods and saw the best view of London. We lucked out that is was sunny because a few hours later we were caught in a downpour. We got some great pictures up there and saw everywhere that we had been exploring for the past few weeks. We then caught a boat ride to Greenwich, just about six miles from London. Of course it started raining during our trip. It was soooo windy too. This would have been an amazing trip but we could not enjoy it to its full potential because of the weather. We did get to see where some of Les Mis was filmed, right at the University there. We also saw a lot of the buildings at the Old Royal Naval College like the chapel and painted halls. They are still used today by students but they are a huge tourist attraction because of the historical significance. We went to the National Maritime Museum too right in Greenwich. We ended up on Observatory Hill to see the middle of the western and eastern hemispheres. We got to step with one foot in each crossing the Prime Meridian! Despite the rain and win it was still an amazing experience!

We decided to stay in London this weekend because of midterms next week. Along with cojo and marketing exams we have an ethics paper due tomorrow. We have to study for all those, do some smaller assignments, and somehow find time to finish planning and packing for our midterm break! We leave Thursday for Rome, Venice, and Barcelona!!!! So excited for that, if anyone has any advice definitely let us know! Somehow I have a feeling I will be wearing 10 outfits on the plane because I have to fit 10 days of clothes into one small suitcase and I do not do well with packing.
